Airdrie events a-plenty. For residents in the northern part of the county, Airdrie will be great place to gather on July 1, with a day full of events to celebrate Canada Day. From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., there will be a pancake breakfast located at the Safeway parking lot just off Airdrie's Main Street. The breakfast will be hosted by the non-profit.

The annual Airdrie Canada Day Parade will kick off at 10 a.m., with the procession of floats moving down Main Street and then heading up Allen Street.
